ALEIALANEE PONCE DE  LEON

Aleialanee is a junior at California State University Long Beach pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Dance. She is currently on the CSULB Spirit Team and is currently serving as the captain for the 2nd year in a row. Aleialanee also just wrapped up another summer on staff for the prestigious United Spirit Association (USA) as a Song/Pom instructor.

Aleialanee is trained in ballet, lyrical, contemporary, jazz, jazz funk, hip-hop, song/pom, and heels. She started dancing at 2 years old and has not stopped since.

Aleialanee has competed and won numerous awards and titles at competitions across the West Coast including but not limited to: Radix, Velocity, KAR, Countdown, 24/7, Hall of Fame, etc. Aleialanee toured with Art of Movement Dance Convention for 3 years as a Featured Assistant. She was also the youngest member of Elevation Studios Pre-Professional Company Off The Floor, as well as a founding member of Orange County Performing Arts Academy’s Pre-Professional company OCPRO.

Aleialanee has worked closely with numerous choreographers such as: Renee Baldwin, Kelley (Guise) Palin, Amy (Nadeau) Berekoff, Cheri Avalos, Melody Lacayanga, Josie Walsh, Scotty Nguyen, Erin Babbs, Moises Parra, Alex Arnold Lee, Robert Prescott Lee, Rachel Miller, and Hannahlei Cabanilla.

Aleialanee strives to create a safe space for her dancers to explore and grow as artists. Her hope is that everyone leaves her class feeling inspired and hungry to learn more. Her motto: Everybody can dance, it is the drive and passion that make you a dancer.
