Dance Lab OC Required Class Attire and Shoes

For your convenience we have supplied links to give you an idea of what shoes to purchase. We are not affiliated with any  shoe company.

 

BALLET
Petite

  • Ages 3.5-6

  • Bare Legs or pink ballet tights

  • Any colored leotard (designs, patterns ok)

  • Tutu skirt, ballet skirt optional

  • Hair pulled back off of face

  • Ballet shoes â€‹

Levels I / II

  • Ballet pink tights (no holes or runs)

  • Canvas ballet shoes

  • ​Black leotard

  • Hair pulled back in tight bun using hairpins and hairnet

Level III / IV

  • Ballet pink tights (no holes or runs)

  • Canvas ballet shoes

  • Any Color/Pattern Leotard 

  • Hair pulled back in tight bun using hairpins and hairnet

OPEN Ballet

Hair pulled back off of face

  • Any color leotard

  • Pink/black tights or black leggings

  • skirts/shorts optional

  • Ballet shoes

POINTE
Levels I / II

  • Ballet pink tights (no holes or runs)

  • Pointe shoes

  • Black leotard

  • Hair pulled back in tight bun using hairpins and hairnet

Levels III / IV

  • Ballet pink tights (no holes or runs)

  • Pointe shoes

  • Any Color/Pattern Leotard 

  • Hair pulled back in tight bun using hairpins and hairnet

We are not affiliated, but many students have gone to the Pointe Shop for Pointe Shoe fittings. It's very important to get shoes that fit properly.

LEGS & LINES / STRETCH & STRENGTH / PILATES

  • Tight fitting dance clothes

  • Bare feet

  • Hair pulled neatly back from face

  • No loose fitting tops or pants

    • CONTORTION

  • Tight fitting dance clothes

  • Bare feet

    • ACRO

  • Tight fitting dance clothes

  • Hair pulled neatly back from face (if hair is very long, please put in a bun so dancer does not step on hair)

  • Lyrical or jazz shoes
