ISA BAYONA

Isa Bayona, originally from Santa Clarita, CA, has trained in numerous dance styles since the age of four. She was the head captain of the award-winning West Ranch Dance Team, where she was then given the opportunity to assist at the West Coast Elite Summer Dance Experience. She has worked closely with choreographers such as Azuki Umeda, Amy Berekoff, Richard Elsy, Mackenzie Martin, Jia Hwang, and Danyel Moulton. She has performed at Carnival, Mashup’s International Women’s Day, Reconstruct Dance Festival, and numerous shows at Chapman. Isa is a senior at Chapman University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic and Corporate Communication and Minors in Dance and Disability Studies. She is currently the Co-President of Chapman’s hip-hop team, Team Shaka. She has had the honor of showcasing her choreography at several performances and competitions and looks forward to further expanding her artistry.
